AP Kivinen (1970) é um poeta e cantor/compositor de Jyväskylä, na Finlândia. É participante experiente no Poetry Slam com performances por vários locais na Finlândia. Como campeão finlandês de Poetry Slam (2015) participou na Competição Europeia de Poetry Slam em Tartu e na competição mundial em Paris, em Maio de 2016.
A poesia de AP Kivinen pode ser descrita como terra-à-terra, com um beat-like, que dá voz à poesia Slam das ruas. ‘No Tricks’ de Carver e ‘Don’t Trey’ de Bukowski são os dois principais lemas do seu processo de escrita.
A primeira coleção de poesia de Kivinen publicada intitula-se Valloittaja (The Conqueror, 2013) e é uma coleção de poemas em prosa, transmitida de pai para filho. A segunda coleção, Tšernobylin Kissat (Os Gatos de Chernobyl; Reuna Publishing Co., 2016) é uma conversa apaixonada entre tu e eu, uma viagem através das estações de uma relação de sangue quente.
Mr. Kivinen também lançou dois álbuns líricos pop / rock; Valley Below: Running Rites (VBmusic, 2007) e Dog Day (VBmusic, 2010).

AP Kivinen (1970) is a poet and a singer/songwriter from Jyväskylä, Finland. He is also an experienced poetry slam participant who performs all over the Finnish club scene. As the Finnish Poetry Slam Champion (2015) he will participate in the European Slam Competition in Tartu and Poetry Slam World Cup in Paris, May 2016.
AP Kivinen’s poetry might be described as down to earth with a beat-like verse, which gives voice to the slam poetry of the streets. Carver’s ‘No Tricks’ and Bukowski’s ‘Don’t Try’ are the two main mottos in the writing process.
The first poetry collection Kivinen published was titled, Valloittaja (The Conqueror, 2013) and is a collection of prose poems handed down from father to son. The second collection, Tšernobylin kissat (The Cats of Chernobyl; Reuna Publishing Co., 2016) is a passionate conversation between you and me, a journey through the seasons of a hot-blooded relationship.
Mr. Kivinen has also released two pop/rock lyrical albums; Valley Below: Running Rites (VBmusic, 2007) and Dog Day (VBmusic, 2010).
