Nicolas Weidmann, mais conhecido por BEATNIK vai estar no Portugal.SLAM 2018. Oriundo de uma pequena aldeia da Alsácia, no nordeste da França, descobriu o Poetry Slam em 2009 num bar em Reims. Foi então seduzido pela atmosfera dos palcos, pela ausência de fronteiras claras entre o público e os artistas que criaram momentos de partilha reais e únicos.
Viajou por várias cidades europeias tendo participado em várias criações coletivas com artistas europeus, em especial para o Arte Web Live em Metz, 2014 em em Trier na Alemanha em 2015. Foi também finalista no campeonato francês em Paris, 2012.
A poesia Slam serve-lhe especialmente para aproveitar os momentos da vida, seja sob a forma de textos curtos e absurdos ou de observações mais líricas. Hoje em dia o Poetry Slam tornou-se numa ferramenta de trabalho no dia a dia como terapeuta, e também através de workshops com estruturas educacionais na sua área.

Nicolas Weidmann, best known as BEATNIK will be in Portugal.SLAM 2018.
Born from a small village in Alsace in northeastern France, he discovered Poetry Slam in 2009 at a pub in Reims. He was then seduced by the atmosphere of the stages, by the absence of clear boundaries between the audience and the artists that created real and unique sharing moments.
He traveled to various European cities and participated in several collective creations with European artists, especially for the Arte Web Live in Metz, 2014, and in Trier in Germany, 2015. He was also a finalist in the French championship in Paris, 2012.
Slam poetry fits him especially to enjoy the moments of life, whether in the form of short and absurd texts or more lyrical observations.
Nowadays, Poetry Slam has become a tool of his day to day work as a therapist, and also through workshops with educational structures in his area.
