Carla Badillo Coronado is one of the international guests of PortugalSLAM 2017, representing Ecuador. She is fascinated by the hybrid and the fragmentary, and immerses herself among several branches of art; especially in writing, translation and travel experiences. Nevertheless, it is in the exploration of music, performance and poetic improvisation that she finds the most genuine possibility of rebelling against the tyranny of her own mind.
