Duncan Green é um dos convidados do PortugalSLAM 2017, representando Inglaterra. Duncan oferece-nos poesia que tem tanto de poderosa como frágil, procurando unir palavras honestas com performances dramáticas. Fez performances em diversos eventos, incluindo no Victorious Festival, no Brighton Fringe e no 451 (recentemente eleito como das melhores noites de poesia no Reino Unido).
A sua performance “Connected” será apresentada dentro da nossa programação no British Council, Lisboa, no dia 26 de Outubro pelas 18h00. “Connected” é em parte facto e em parte um jogo de palavras falso, que analisa o impacto do uso dos smartphones na sociedade e o potencial resultado desse (ab)uso.

Duncan Green is one of our international guests, representing England for the 4th edition of the PortugalSLAM festival. Duncan delivers poetry that is both powerful and fragile, looking to merge honest words with dramatic performances. He has featured at many events including Victorious Festival, Brighton Fringe and the 451 (recently voted one of the best poetry nights in the UK).
His performance “Connected” will be presented during our program, at the British Council, Lisbon, on the 26th of October 6.30pm. “Connected” is a part fact/part fictional spoken word play that looks at the impact of the mobile phone in society and the potential outcome of this.
