Nuno Piteira é o fundador e organizador do Poetry Slam Amadora desde 2011 e coordenador geral da plataforma PortugalSLAM. É co-fundador da Associação Circuito Explosivo – Núcleo de Expressão Artística (Amadora 2011). Trabalhou no Museu de Arqueologia, Casa Roque Gameiro e Recreios da Amadora como animador socio-cultural, afecto ao departamento de Educação e Cultura da Câmara Municipal da Amadora. Organizador de visitas guiadas ao concelho da Amadora no âmbito da preservação Histórica e Património junto da comunidade escolar. Participou no projecto (Lab.I.O.) – Laboratório de Interacção e Oralidade, onde organizou eventos de poetry slam e workshops (2013-2015). Além disso criou e participou em diversas performances que cruzam poesia, vídeo, dança, pintura e escultura. Foi vencedor da Final Nacional de Poetry Slam em Portugal (2015) e o vencedor do Campeonato Europeu de Poetry Slam na Estónia (2015 / 2016). Participa na residência artística King of the Meadows em Friesland (Netherlands), onde trabalha com artistas frísios no âmbito da Capital Europeia da Cultura (Leeuwarden, 2018), participando em performances poético-musicais e organizando workshops de tradução.
Para além de fazer parte da coordenação geral da plataforma PortugalSLAM, Nuno Piteira é  também director artístico e coordenador da iniciativa “Transpoéticos”.

Nuno Miguel García Piteira is the founder and organizer of the Poetry Slam Amadora since 2011, and is currently the general coordinator of PortugalSLAM. He is also co-responsible for the project and the execution of “Performance e Residência Silêncio Improvável, Poesia Experimentada” (Performance and Residency Improbable Silence, Experimental Poetry) at the 2015 PortugalSlam; he is the co-founder of the Associação Circuito Explosivo (Explosive Circuit Association) – Núcleo de Expressão Artística (A Nucleus of Artistic Expression, Amadora 2011). He has worked at the Archaeology Museum, at the Amadora Recreational Centre and Casa Roque Gameiro as a socio-cultural animator, has designed for the Education and Culture Department of the Local Municipal Board. He organized guided tours together with the school community to the parts of the Municipality of Amadora that are considered protected History and Patrimony. He participated in the project (Lab.I.O.) – a laboratory of interaction and orality, where he organized poetry slam events and workshops (2013-2015). Winner of the of the national slam in Portugal, organize by Portugal Slam in 2015, and Winner of the European poetry slam in Estonia in 2015. Later, during the residence “Kinf of the Meadows” in Friesland (Netherlands), he worked with frisian artists in the scope of the European Capital of Culture (Leeuwarden, 2018), on which we perform with poetry and music and organize workshops of translation.
Nuno Piteira is currently the general coordinator of the platform PortugalSLAM, as well as the artistic director and coordinator of the activity “Transpoéticos”.

PERFORMANCES INTERNACIONAIS / INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCES

PT | O vencedor da Final Nacional de Poetry Slam do PortugalSLAM tem, entre vários outros prémios, a possibilidade de representar Portugal em diferentes eventos poéticos internacionais no ano seguinte. O PortugalSLAM encarrega-se de fazer essa ponte com as diferentes organizações com as quais tem estabelecido parcerias de intercâmbio artístico.

EN | The winner of the National Poetry Slam Final at PortugalSLAM has, among many other awards, the opportunity to represent Portugal in various international poetry events the following year. The PortugalSLAM team is in charge of making this bridge with the different organizations with which established artistic exchange partnerships.
