Vencedor da 1º edição do PortugalSLAM! em 2014, Nilson Muniz é slam poet e performer, (ator, cantor, compositor e bailarino) brasileiro. Formado pela Fundação das Artes de SCS, integrou o (CPT) Centro de Pesquisa Teatral dirigido por Antunes Filho em São Paulo (BR) e realizou intercâmbio com o Clipa Theater Group em Tel Aviv (IS). Foi Artista Orientador no projeto Teatro Vocacional da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura de São Paulo. Cria e realiza performances como Cazcadenós (corpoesia absteactra), Coisa PraDizer, Vir-Ou-Vir, MiraMirrors, Humans-Rests-Hurbans, CabraPedra, entre outras… apresentando-se em festivais no Brasil, Alemanha, Israel, Bulgária, Espanha e Portugal. Em 2014 anuncia a sua carreira musical, ao lançar seu primeiro EP intitulado UMHOMEMDORMINDO. Colaborador ativo do movimento Poetry Slam em Portugal, é representante deste país em vários torneios internacionais até à próxima edição do PortugalSLAM!.

PT | O vencedor da Final Nacional de Poetry Slam do PortugalSLAM tem, entre vários outros prémios, a possibilidade de representar Portugal em diferentes eventos poéticos internacionais no ano seguinte. O PortugalSLAM encarrega-se de fazer essa ponte com as diferentes organizações com as quais tem estabelecido parcerias de intercâmbio artístico.
